Health care in Kojetín

There is an important health centre in Kojetín, which serves to the inhabitants of our town, as well as to the whole microregion.

Its building has been in the ownership of the town of Kojetín since 1997. The lower, south wing was sold in 1999 and rebuilt into the modern private chemist’s of Dr. Hálková. The internal department and laboratory are located there, too.

   

For several years, the building has been fulfilling also other functions except for the sanitary ones. A lot of doctors moved away to private surgeries in the town after the year 1989 and the released space has been used in a different manner (health insurance companies, administration of social security, etc.).

However, the character of the social and health service has been conserved till nowadays.
