Education in Kojetín

The education represents a matter of big importance in our town.

The youngest pupils are taken care of in the nursery school, which develops its activity in two buildings with the total capacity of at least 150 children, divided into 6 departments.

The elementary school system is embodied with two independent and complete elementary schools, where the education is provided not only to children from Kojetín and its districts Kovalovice and Popůvky, but also to those from Polkovice, Uhřičice, Křenovice, Stříbrnice, Měrovice nad Hanou and even from Chropyně and Bezměrov.

       

The running of Sladovní elementary school can't be omitted either, as it ensures the upbringing and education of pupils with weaker learning results as well as their further integration into the life and society.

A significant part of the town and regional secondary education occupies also the local grammar school as it takes in students not only from Kojetín but also from the close surroundings.

As regards the after-school activities of young people, they are taken into consideration in the Elementary art school which trains the pupils by means of art and in the Municipal children and youth club which prepares a wide range of free-time activities for children, youth and adults.

       

The town dining room is in charge of the boarding for pupils and students.
